With over a decade of experience living in Melbourne, Elvis has immersed himself in the community, advocating for social justice, equality, and sustainability. As a young leader, Elvis has served on numerous boards, bringing youthful expertise to strategic initiatives that drive meaningful change. Elvis recently represented Australia at United Nations Headquarters in New York. In Melbourne he was successful in advocating for a member of the police to have a seat on the homeless advisory council he served on, in order for them to have first-hand understanding of what those experiencing housing insecurities go through He is a passionate supporter of small businesses and innovative entrepreneurship, believing they are key to revitalizing Melbourne's liveability.
Elvis is committed to collaborating with community organizations to address critical issues including homelessness and community safety. Through his extensive work with the Melbourne City Mission Housing, the National Youth Commission, and various advisory councils, he has championed the voices of those in need, especially the youth and marginalized communities.

Paul Moore brings 20 years of experience owning and operating one of Melbourne’s top seafood restaurants, awarded a chef's hat and recognized by The Age Good Food Guide. Paul brings a deep understanding of small business and the hospitality industry and has successfully run a vibrant café bar in Bourke Street, earning the Lord Mayor's Award for long-standing business excellence.
As a councillor, his firsthand experience with the challenges facing Melbourne's hospitality venues, especially post-COVID, equips him to advocate for practical solutions to restore the city’s reputation as a clean, safe, and thriving place to live and work.
Melissa Rymer

Melissa Rymer has spent most of her life living and working in and around Melbourne. With a passion for urban design, architecture, writing, and art, she has witnessed Melbourne's transformation into a vibrant cultural hub. Recently accredited as a counsellor, she is dedicated to supporting women through significant life changes.
Since 2002, she has worked as a freelance writer, primarily covering architecture and design and was involved in the film industry, working on documentaries and as a location scout in New York and Melbourne. She holds a degree in architecture and has furthered her education in screenwriting, art therapy, and counselling. Deeply committed to Melbourne, she aims to contribute to making the city an even better place to live.
Carole Kenny-Sarasa

Carole Kenny-Sarasa has been living in Carlton and calling Australia home for 10 years.
Carole is a passionate advocate with a diverse background spanning the arts, health, social justice, and community engagement. Currently a Senior Policy Advisor at the Australian Institute of Digital Health (AIDH), she brings a wealth of experience to her role, where she champions access to health for everyone by leveraging the benefits of digital health.
Until recently, Carole was on the Board of the Alliance Française de Melbourne to promote French and Francophone language and culture in Melbourne and cultural exchanges between France and Australia.
During her free time, Carole crochets scarves, blankets and other woollen items for charity Knit One Give One, an organisation founded in Melbourne that distributes warm items to over 400 community partner organisations throughout Australia.
Carole’s career and personal engagement reflect a consistent dedication to advocacy and community engagement, making her a valuable asset for the community.
Her vision for the City of Melbourne is where the Council works with the community to design and implement programs and infrastructure to enable healthy and happy living for everyone, regardless of their background. Carole will support any Council’s initiative to tackle poor housing and homelessness.

In addition to James' expertise in business, he is a former professional percussionist who toured Australia and Internationally and was the 2001 National Percussion Champion, showcasing a lifelong dedication to music and the arts. This unique blend of skills not only fuels James' creative approach but also drives his belief in the power of the arts to shape inclusive, culturally rich communities.
